Why clients travel

Why Jesmond clients come here.

Polynucleotides are still relatively new in UK aesthetics. Jesmond clients have usually done the reading. They know what PDRN is and why it’s different from a skin booster or filler. They want a nurse who understands the tissue science and places it correctly. That’s a narrower pool than it should be.

I’m NMC-registered. I’ll tell you whether polynucleotides are the right treatment for your concern or whether something else would serve you better. The 22-minute drive north is the deliberate, informed choice. Jesmond clients make it confidently.

The treatment

Polynucleotides, plainly explained.

Polynucleotides are fragments of DNA, extracted from salmon or trout sperm cells. That sounds alarming. It isn’t. The DNA fragments are highly purified and have a strong safety record in medical literature. When injected into the skin, they stimulate fibroblast activity, the cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin. They also reduce inflammation and support tissue repair.

The result builds gradually. Not a sudden change. A slow, noticeable improvement in skin texture, firmness and elasticity over several weeks. Under-eye hollowness and crepiness respond particularly well. So does loss of firmness around the lower face and neck.

I treat the under-eye area, the full face, and the face combined with the neck. Most clients need a course of sessions, typically four, spaced two weeks apart. Then maintenance every three to six months.
