Anti-wrinkle injections are a Prescription Only Medicine — botulinum toxin Type A — that I prescribe and inject myself. Small, targeted doses temporarily soften the muscles that create expression lines on the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes. The skin lying over those muscles stops creasing the way it has been; lines that were starting to settle in get a chance to fade.
The goal is never to stop your face moving. It's to soften the lines without freezing the expression. You should still smile, still frown, still show feeling — just with fewer creases settling in for the long haul.
