Aqualyx uses deoxycholic acid. A chemical your body already makes to digest fat. I inject it directly into a small pocket of subcutaneous fat. The acid breaks down the fat cell membrane. Your body clears the contents through the lymphatic system over 4 to 8 weeks.
Most clients need 2 to 4 sessions, four weeks apart. Results are gradual. Expect significant swelling for 48 to 72 hours after each session. This is the treatment working. If you need results before an event in the next 6 to 8 weeks, this is not the right timing. I’ll tell you that honestly.
